It's the time of year when everyone's focus turns to college basketball and the Brickwall Tavern in Burlington City wants to make sure all those hoop dreams help some animals at the Burlington County Animal Shelter.
From March 19 to April 8, 10 percent of all sales of craft resident beers will be donated to the Friends of the Burlington County Animals Shelter. We'll use the contributions to provide specialized medical care and treatment, as well as special food and treats for the shelter animals, as well as fund low-cost spay/neuter programs for county residents.
Craft resident beers include Spellbound Cherry Tripel, Tonewood Fuego, NC Highwater Hefeweizen, Victory Helles Lager, and Asbury Park Roasted Stout.
The beers are normally priced at $7; during happy hour they're $4 and our group will receive donations from both sales.
The Brickwall is located at 19 East Union Street in Burlington.
Next time you're thirsty for a brew, head over to the Brickwall and help the animals!
