Shamong adopts TNR program for community cats

On Nov. 29, 2017, the Burlington County Times ran a story on Shamong being the first municipality in Burlington County to adopt a trap-neuter-return policy (TNR) regulating the care of community cats, meaning any free-roaming, feral or barn cat that is cared for by one or more residents that has no discernible form of ownership identification.

This is great news for community cats in the county!
