Learn how to advocate for feral cats in your town

The Friends of the Burlington County Animals Shelter is hosting a feral cat advocacy workshop, with Brian Hackett, NJ director for the HSUS as a speaker, and featuring representatives from People for Animals and Pet Savers, on May 17, 5:30-8:30 p.m. at the Burlington County Library in Westampton. In this unique workshop, you'll learn how to advocate for humane public policy for feral cats in your town and meet other like-minded people.

You will:

  • Learn the components of HUMANE and effective community-wide feral cat population control.
  • Learn how to find and approach your local officials so they will listen.
  • Receive advocacy materials to use in your town.
  • Learn where to find more advocacy resources and information.

There is no charge to attend, but you must register by emailing friends.say.snip.it@gmail.com or calling 609-479-1966.
