April 29! Fifth Annual Barb Feldstein Memorial Raining Cats & Dog Pet Fest is FREE fun for the whole family

No matter how you define fun, the 2017 Barb Feldstein Memorial Raining Cats & Dogs Pet Fest on Saturday, April 29 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Burlington County Animal Shelter will have something to amuse, entertain and delight you and your family.

The event is presented by the Friends of the Burlington County Animal Shelter; the premier sponsor is the Mount Laurel Animal Hospital.

Admission to the event is free for everyone. Well-behaved, leashed dogs are also welcome to attend.

Here are just some of the activities:

  • the hugely popular Kiss-A-Bull kissing booth
  • Big Dog and same-day 50-50 drawings
  • a Kids Zone for children
  • a petting zoo at the Mount Laurel Animal Hospital booth
  • live music
  • vendors with a variety of merchandise
  • canine search and rescue demonstrations
  • dog and cat toy, and dog coat sales
  • bake sale
  • dog wash (weather permitting)
  • Burlington County Animal Alumni station with special gifts and photos for adopters and their pets
  • free dog sitting while you visit the shelter
  • UPenn K9 Bloodmobile (appointments required, email: herodogsk9blooddrive@yahoo.com to make an appointment; in the Public Safety parking lot on Academy Drive, just before you get to the shelter grounds)
