Sign up for the Paw Prints 5K Run/Walk

Runners who are animal lovers -- lace up your shoes and head over to the Burlington County Animal Shelter on Saturday, April 29! Well conditioned canines are welcome, too!

The Friends of the Burlington County Animal Shelter are sponsoring a 5K run/walk and a 1-mile fun run/walk to raise money to help the shelter animals. The 5K run and walk starts at 9:30 a.m. and the 1-mile fun run/walk starts at 9:45 a.m. There are only eight spots left to receive a free shirt and a swag bag!

The course is in the open space behind the Burlington County Library on Woodland Road.

There will be prizes for:

  • top three individual fundraisers
  • top three team fundraisers
  • top male and female overall finishers in the 5K run
  • top male and female with a dog overall finishers in the 5K run
  • top three male and female finishers in the 5K run in the following age groups: 19 and under; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60 and over.

The award ceremony will be at 11 a.m. and our Fifth Annual Barb Feldstein Memorial Raining Cats & Dogs Pet Fest starts immediately afterward.

Lead or join a team:  Fundraising, running and/or walking is always more fun with friends, family or co-workers.Paw Prints 5K Run/Walk fundraising teams can consist of two to 10 people and must raise a minimum of $250 in pledges/donations. All team members will receive a t-shirt and race back pack. Help us save lives and spread awareness.

Volunteer: We'll need the support of more than 40 volunteers to make this a successful run/walk to support the homeless animals in our community. Be part of this fun-filled day by lending a hand. Click here to sign up.
