Princess likes other dogs and kids of all ages, so she will make a terrific addition to most any family.
Pets With Perks are pets specially sponsored by Friends of the Burlington County Animal Shelter volunteers. If you adopt a Pet With Perks, you go home with a goodie bag full of pet supplies and a certificate for free microchipping. All Pets With Perks have posters on their kennels to let people know they’re special.
Anyone can sponsor a shelter pet and help him or her get adopted.
Pets with Perks
Happy is an appropriate name for this guy. He's just loving life, though he'd really like an active family to share it with.
Darla is friendly, outgoing, active and strong. She tends to pull on the leash, but is easily corrected and would benefit from some structure with an experienced dog owner.
Super friendly Spartacus is very relaxed and laid-back and likes children, adults and other cats.
Anna is very shy but will warm up given time. She loves to be petted and is very gentle.
Colby Jack is very friendly and loving, in fact he loves everyone: dogs, cats, children and adults. He hasn't met anyone he doesn't like.
Emily is a real sweetheart -- super friendly and loving and enjoys cuddling, laps and attention.
Sequoia is a friendly, calm, sweet, and a little bit shy. He also likes to be petted.
Cheesecake is leashtrained and loves going for walks. He also enjoys attention, petting, treats and toys.
Our Barry White may not be a famous singer, but he is one heck of a nice cat. Barry is a handsome 3- to 5-year-old who came to us as a stray from Pemberton Township. He is a sweet and affectionate boy who loves to sit on your lap and snuggle. Barry is housetrained, neutered and ready to steal your heart, so why not stop by the shelter and pay him a visit.
Oreo is a beautiful senior kitty who was sadly surrendered to the shelter through no fault of her own. She is 13 years old, housetrained and spayed.
Candy gets along well with other cats so would do well as a second or third cat. She is a bit shy at first but quickly warms up and likes to be petted.
Robin is about a year old and a little shy at first, but volunteers note that she likes attention and is affectionate.
Piper is an adorable and well-mannered 1-year-old girl; she is affectionate, friendly and loves attention and cuddling.
Maximus is a very friendly dog around people, but is also strong, so older children would be the best fit for him.
Marley is VERY sweet, excellent on the leash and will probably get along well with other animals.
If you like to walk or jog and need a companion, Robert James would be a great dog for you.
Bryson is quite the gentleman, heeling calmly, sitting on command, and taking treats with a soft, gentle mouth
