Sign up for the fall 2017 Paw Prints 5K on Sept. 30

Our first Paw Prints 5K was last April on the same day as our annual Barb Feldstein Memorial Raining Cats & Dogs Pet Fest at the Burlington County Animal Shelter.

It was so successful and everyone had so much fun that we decided to make the race a stand-alone event on the last Saturday in September at a new venue, beautiful Smithville Park in Eastampton.

And since we didn't want to wait more than a year to have another race, we're going to have two in 2017! The next Paw Prints 5K is Saturday, Sept. 30.

The event starts at 8 a.m. (race time is 9 a.m.). Registration is $25 for the 5K run or walk and $15 for the fun walk until Aug. 25. Registration prices go up after that.

There will be prizes for:

  • top male and female overall finishers in the 5K run
  • top male and female with a dog overall finishers in the 5K run
  • top male and female finishers in the 5K run in the following age groups: 19 and under; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60 and over

The award ceremony will be at 10:30 a.m.
